Arrived late on a short notice booking. The desk agent confused me about the required valet parking, but fortunately another worker told me parking on the street was free until 8am. Rooms were clean and sheets were great. The desk checkout agent was very friendly. It's near a busy freight train line so expect periodic engine noise. Lot's of vacant buildings across the street. The area is hopefully undergoing some revitalization.

While attending a Conference, the stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Jackson, Ms. Tia, the GM Assistant and Anita, Food Services Employee were extremely professional and provided excellent services. Keep up the good work.

This hotel is really something special! As soon as you walk in, it feels like you’ve stepped into an old-school, classy movie. It might be a good idea for the management to hire some on-site chefs, kinda like the ones at Embassy Suites in Frisco, Texas, to cook omelets and other breakfast or lunch goodies. Right now, breakfast prices are way too high, especially since the food is pretty much what you’d get for free at other Hilton hotels. The bathrooms in the rooms are outdated and dirty. Definitely need a whole remodel to make the whole experience even better.

I recently had the opportunity of hosting my annual executive meeting at this property. I utilized their ballroom accommodations as well as about 15 hotel room accommodations. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from the start through the end. Ms. Barbara and Duen were both true professionals that made our event a priority and ensured outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this priority for your business meeting hosting / sleeping accommodation needs.

while I never remembered staying in this place, I have seen YouTube videos of people doing a tour in this place and made photos. this hotel was built in 1923 originally made by King Edward which can sound unbelievable. I do have to say the indoor pool is what makes this place a 4 star. overall, a great hotel.

The location was very good. It is a nice city to walk around during the day time. Beautiful building. The service was pretty good. When I checked in I was not told anything about the amenities or given any waters, which maybe is different than other hotels. At almost 7, When I went to load my car on the last day, it took 10 minutes and another guest entering the hotel to let me in to get my beverage before I got on the road. The front counter person was gone and even the valet could not reach anyone. The valets were awesome. Do know this is valet only, which may be standard for Jackson, so not a complaint. No complaints, just being transparent regarding my stay. Recommend this location.

This classically restored hotel in the heart of downtown Jackson was a delight to stay in as one can almost go back in time to an earlier area of the grand hotels in the heart of cities. The hotel is on the site of the former King Edwards Apartments, which harkens back to an era before the suburbanization of America, and when the sidewalks were full of well-dressed people. The lobby is beautifully restored to the art deco era, and the building itself is a classic from an earlier era. The staff are friendly and helpful. The area of downtown Jackson is not all that safe, and the hotel compensates with security staff and valets in front of the hotel at all times, and the area is somewhat walkable, but many of the storefronts in the area are vacant. The restaurant a block away is only open for limited hours, and not many businesses are functioning in the immediate area. To be sure, the city of Jackson has invested millions into revitalizing its downtown and the refurnishing of this Hilton is an important major step into making downtown Jackson a happening place again. The hotel bar is a happening spot with indoor and outdoor seating, and the hotel restaurant serves meals throughout the day. One must valet park, and while the valets are top-notch and friendly, it is inconvenient and makes parking expensive, especially if one wants to go out often. If one wants a break from suburban hotels near office parks, then this place is well worth trying out.
